Some sessions feel like coming home—and this one with baby Paisley was just that.

Paisley came to see me at just 2 weeks old, perfectly tiny, sleepy, and full of sweetness. It’s always special to photograph a newborn, but this session carried a little extra magic. Four years ago, I had the joy of photographing her big brother as a newborn, and now here he was—so grown up and proud—lovingly doting on his baby sister during her very first photo shoot.

There’s something so heartwarming about watching families grow. Seeing familiar faces walk back into my studio, now with a new addition wrapped in soft pastels and sleepy snuggles, is the greatest compliment and such a full-circle moment.

Paisley curled up beautifully in those classic womb-like poses, giving us the soft, serene shots every parent dreams of. We used gentle tones to highlight her delicate features, and added a few timeless textures for those heirloom-quality portraits. Her brother, now four, brought his own sparkle to the session—beaming with curiosity and affection, sneaking little kisses and hugs her way in between clicks of the camera.

Capturing the bond between siblings is always one of my favorite parts of newborn photography. The way he gently touched her tiny fingers and looked at her with wide-eyed wonder—those are the moments that melt your heart.

To this beautiful family: thank you for trusting me again to capture such an important chapter in your lives. Paisley is already so deeply loved, and it shows in every frame. Your family is truly a joy to photograph.

Welcome to the world, little one. You’re already so adored.
