I had so much fun in 2014 teaching workshops, I was able to go to Florida, California, New York, South Carolina, Ohio and Colorado and met over 40 fabulous girls that I am so happy to be able to continue to help and watch them grow. Thank you all for believing in me and trusting me to teach you!
Now I am looking forward to 2015 and hopefully meeting many more girls and see more amazing studio spaces around the US. So here are the locations and dates for 2015:
March 21/22 Louisville, Kentucky
April 11/2 Alexandria, Virginia
May 30/31 Stonington, Connecticut
June 13/14 Milwaukee, Wisconsin
July 11/12 Bloomingburg New York
August 1/2 My studio in Ohio
September Colorado
The workshops are small groups and you will get hands on experience so that you are better prepared to do it on your own once you return to your own studio. During the workshop we will have at least 4 newborns over 2 days and we will cover my entire workflow during a session, studio lighting, soothing techniques, editing, and business. After the workshop you will be added to a private Facebook group where you can get continued support from not only me but all the other girls that have taken the workshop too. The cost is $1500 for the 2 day workshop and that is broken down into 3 payments for you!

I attended Andreas workshops in October of 2014. I was reluctant, initially, because I wanted to make sure that if I invested that much money into a workshop, it would be worth it. I decided to go for it and I couldn’t be happier with how it has changed my work. I was so unsure how to master various poses and now I am confident in how to do all of them. It changed my workflow, my lighting, my posing, transitioning and soothing techniques.
Not only was this workshop fun, but, I learned so much and Andrea is so sweet. I would recommend this workshop to anyone looking to improve their newborn work.
If you want to learn great beanbag posing workflow and reduce your session time significantly, this is a workshop for you. Not only did we learn a lot from Andrea’s experience, we had a chance to do some hands on posing, and there is a private fb group for continuous learning after the workshop. The group was small which makes a huge difference in a newborn posing workshop.
It is so great to see how much our photos improved after Andrea’s workshop, great investment 😉
I was able to attend Andrea’s Newborn Workshop in October of 2014. It was one of the best things I could have ever done for my business. I loved that it was a small group of photographers and I didn’t feel intimidated at all. Andrea was great at making each of us feel comfortable and welcome. I LOVED the hands on experience that we got. If I wasn’t angled right or I wasn’t holding my camera at the right angle, Andrea would help me reposition things correctly. I learned not only posing techniques but made new friends that I am still in contact with and learning from. Andrea’s Workshop was more than I ever expected!
Cannot wait to host for you in Wisconsin! Seeing how smooth your session went (when I was able to simply visit/watch you) is amazing, and I know you pay so much attention to ALL of the little details that add up to the final amazing big picture. You are so talented, Andrea, and I recommend your workshop to anyone and everyone!
If you are contemplating attending a workshop I would highly recommend Andrea’s workshop. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she is super duper sweet as well as an amazing instructor! During the workshop you will get to see her pose the babies in a seamless manner from one pose to the next on the bean bag you also get to photograph them. Andrea sits right by you advising you the best angel to photograph them, making sure you get it correct in the camera! Ever been to a workshop where you just watch the instructor photograph the session while you as an attendee just watch. Well guess what you also get hands on practice with the poses, this is extremely helpful, you will get a feel for how the baby should be positioned. Most photographers are all visual learners so for me this was exceptional! Andrea will go over little tips to get the poses perfect. Guess what the learning doesn’t stop at the workshop either, if you are struggling with a pose Andrea is there for her attendees and will walk you through what you are doing wrong. I just cannot say enough about her and her workshop. You will become a more confident photographer after taking her class. Your bean bag work-flow transitioning from one pose to the next will become seamless with practice. You won’t regret this investment for your photography business!
I am so excited to be hosting the Kentucky workshop! I have admired Andrea’s work and attention to detail for so long. I cannot wait to see her work for the first time and the opportunity to learn from her & other great photographers from around the country! March 2015 cannot get here soon enough! 🙂
I attended Andrea’s workshop on October of 2014 and I highly recommend it! I walked away with so much information that I use for every single newborn session. I especially loved the opportunity for hands on learning! Definitely worth the investment!
